Position Description
Job duties include but are not limited to:


-Manage maintenance and repair of landscaping & equipment (rotary & reel mowers)
-Oversee scheduling & routing of personnel & equipment to accomplish the work
-Recommend necessary equipment & supplies to maintain grounds
-Communicate regularly with management to discuss activities, goals & plans
-Supervise grounds crew
-Prepare for special events
-Maintain safe grounds

Experience / Qualifications
Including, but not limited to, the following:

-Two years or more golf/business operations and management experience
-Enrollment in PGA and/or LPGA professional certification program (if not member)
-Teaching experience
-Retail/merchandising experience
-In-depth PC application knowledge: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Associate’s degree or higher preferred
-Professional affiliation – PGA or LPGA “Class A”
-Club repair, club building and club fitting knowledge / experience preferred
-Strong administrative background, goal-oriented and exceptionally motivated

Position Description
Manage all aspects of golf service operations including the Golf Academy, Driving Range, Golf Course Maintenance and all staff assigned to these areas.  Additionally the Golf Operations Manager will be responsible for membership sales, assisting the owner with merchandise sales and club repair, and is expected to actively be involved in providing and developing golf instruction programs.

This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits

Key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
-Provide daily operational presence and hands-on leadership. Be prepared to fill in and perform tasks in any area of the golf services operation.
-Responsible for golf academy, range, golf course and personnel, golf course maintenance staff and membership sales.
-Assist owner with retail and services.
-Monitor, evaluate and improve presentation/cleanliness of facility, engaging all golf services staff with maintaining facility standards.
-Monitor and evaluate tee sheet and facility utilization..
-Assist with purchasing inventory. . Monitor inventory levels; ensure all inventories are rotated and redisplayed on a regular basis.
-Scheduling and monitoring staff to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
-Develop Golf Academy by promoting events and clinics through use of all social media and association with the community, including juniors, private lessons, clinics and participation with the First Tee of Pittsburgh
-Manage and improve driving range operations, including facility presentation on a daily basis, quality of customer experience, programming for time of day promotions, and incremental revenue opportunities.
